Lunarpages has been a great hosting company to deal with. We used to have our site hosted at Godaddy since we got our domain there. What a nightmare that place was. We switched over to Lunarpages because someone I know has a site with them and they highly recommended them. Switching our site over was pretty easy. They sent over the standard welcome email with all of our login information. We really liked the fact that we get a lot of email accounts to use and that the pricing was pretty affordable. We are glad that we signed up.
When I first signed up with Lunar Pages they were pretty good. They answered all of my support questions quickly and their uptime and speed was very good. Then the problems started all of the sudden. The site was getting slower and their customer service didn’t provide me with adequate answers. It took a while to get the problems resolved and they are fine now.
Lunarpages is so well-known and yet their hosting plan is one of the cheapest in the market. They are offering so many features in their basic hosting plan that I think it shouldn’t be called as ‘basic’.
I signed up with Lunarpages a couple of years ago and I am glad that I did ever since. Our previous host was terrible and we needed a new host quickly. Lunarpages came recommended to me from a business friend. Our site has been very busy with thousands of visitors per month so we needed a host that had some decent uptime. That, along with their pricing and there control panel made it an easy decision.
I would rate their services as one of the best services in the industry. But i would term their price to be very higher. The 2 years plan offer a better rate. I think a customer can get a lot in that. I am sure not many would be exercising the option of money back guarantee. It is because they are always prompt in their service. But once or twice, even i heard that their support team does not deliver well on time.
This company was a complete waste of time for me. They hype their services and are quick to get you signed up but if you need assistance, you can pretty much forget that. They keep you on hold forever and don’t respond to emails . I suspect the other reviews here are probably posted by lunarpages staff.
